Meall Corranaich is part of the Ben Lawers range, and is well seen from the Lawers visitor centre. It can be climbed from there up a steep ridge but is more usually ascended from the northwest, starting from the summit of the pass.

Meall Corranaich can also be climbed from the Ben Lawers car park, ascending the steep ridge which links with Beinn Ghlas.
The biggest bagging route hereabouts is a circuit of the 7 Lawers Munros as part of a horseshoe round the Allt a'Chobhair from Camusvrachan in Glen Lyon.
