The easternmost of the Lawers range, Meall Greigh is fairly shapeless and sprawling, usually traversed en-route to Meall Garbh. With no higher peaks through the eastern ark it does enjoy extensive views.

The route given can easily by extended to take in Ben Lawers, descending initially down its eastern ridge. Another possibility is to traverse from the Ben Lawers car park over Beinn Ghlas, continuing via Ant Stuc to Meall Garbh and finally Meall Greigh before descending to the Lawers hotel.

The biggest bagging route hereabouts is a circuit of the 7 Lawers Munros as part of a horseshoe round the Allt a'Chobhair from Camusvrachan in Glen Lyon.
