Mullach Clach a' Bhlàir has an insignificant summit towards the southern end of the great plateau that stretches northwards to Sgòr Gaoith and eastwards to Cairn Toul. Its finest features are seen on the approach from beautifully-wooded Glen Feshie, with Coire Garbhlach.

Its position on the vast Moine Mhòr plateau - and easy terrain underfoot - mean that the Mullach can feasibly be included in several other Munro outings. The most popular combination is with Sgòr Gaoith to the north, but the very fit may combine it with the Monadh Mòr range.
