Sgurr a'Bhealaich Dheirg is the highest and finest mountain on the Brothers Ridge - the eastward extension of the Five Sisters of Kintail. The true summit is on a narrow spur to the north of the ridge and is marked by a well-built cairn.

Other routes and challenges

Although almost invariably climbed as part of a ridge traverse between its two neighbouring Munros, Sgurr a' Bhealaich Dheirg can also be reached more directly with an ascent up to Meall a' Charra from Glen Shiel.

The finest approach would probably be via the narrow and airy NNE ridge over Sreath a' Ghlas-choire, starting in the remote countryside around Camban.
