Stob Binnein is joined to its slightly higher twin Ben More and seldom thought of on its own; however it is actually the finer of the two summits. It can be approached separately from the south as well as the more usual combination from the north.

Other routes and challenges

Stob Binnein can also be climbed from Inverlochlarig to the south - though this route usually involves a reascent over Stob Binnein on the return if you wish to include Ben More. The horseshoe walk around the hills circling the Allt Coire Chaorach is another option - though negotiating the forestry plantations requires some planning.

The epic challenge route hereabouts involves ascents of all the 7 Crianlarich Munros - an exceptionally demanding expedition over very rough terrain at times.
