Canisp

Canisp is a cone-shaped peak and despite being a Corbett is often overlooked due to the quality of its neighbour, Suilven. It is well worth climbing for the fantastic views of the bizarre mountains all around. The usual approach, being much the shortest, is from the east.

Other routes and challenges
The route above is much the shortest, but an ascent from the west gives a much finer approach, using stalkers' paths passing close by Suileag bothy before climbing up above Loch na Gainimh to finally ascent the WNW ridge.
