Meall Horn is a complex mountain deep in the wilds of Sutherland, rising steeply from a whole series of hill lochans. It suffers in comparison to near neighbours Arkle and Foinaven but is a very fine viewpoint.

Other routes and challenges

The route above is the shortest and gives a fine circuit. The ascent can also be combined with further Corbetts, most conveniently with Arkle as a combination with Foinaven would make a very long walk.

Another option is to extend the route to neighbouring Graham, Sadhal Beag, before descending using the Bealach na Feithe track.
