Sgùrr an Fhuarain is a very remote Corbett with fine ridges radiating in three directions. It stands between lonely Glen Kingie and the waters of Loch Quoich. It can easily be comibined with neighbouring Sgùrr Mor.

Alternative routes are much longer than that given above, although kayakers could reach the foot of the mountain by crossing Loch Quoich.
One possibility is an epic traverse over Gairich from the Quoich dam, possibly returning down Glen Kingie.
