Region: Galloway and Dumfries
Altitude: 786 metres
Kirriereoch Hill was once a Corbett in its own right before being demoted. With 150m of ascent all around, it now qualifies as a Marilyn, but is just short of having the 500' of separate needed for a Corbett. Some facts don't change - it remains sandwiched between the Merrick and Shalloch on Minnoch. The approaches from the west are heavily afforested.
