This dramatic hidden ravine - spelt Chrichope on some maps - was once a renowned showplace, but it is now neglected and almost forgoten, its many footbridges long since removed. This short circular walk explores the gorge before returning along tracks and minor roads.

Narrow and rough path in woods, then tracks. The gorge is steep with unprotected drops - a dangerous place requiring great care.
