The Merrick via Loch Valley, from Glen Trool
This alternative approach to the Merrick has the advantage of enabling a circular route. However the route up Loch Valley - though attractive - is very boggy.
Exceptionally boggy path leading up Loch Valley. Final ascent up from Loch Enoch is pathless, open slope.
None to start.
Car park near Bruce's Stone.
