Black Mountain
Black Mountain - which is unnamed on OS Landranger maps - lies on the border ridge that separates England and Wales and is thus the highest mountain in Southern England as well as having a Welsh side. The summit is crossed by the long distance Offa's Dyke Path, now partly paved to prevent erosion of the peat.
