Romantic and simply comfortable, these 3 fishermen’s blackhouse cottages are perfect for couples wanting to get away from it all. Located 2 miles from the main road, on the edge of the Coronation Meadow, with great opportunities for wildlife-watching and walking without the need to get in the car. Each cottage has one bedroom and one bathroom with an open plan kitchen living-room, but each is slightly different! They all comfortably sleep 2, but East can sleep 3 and West can sleep 4. Dogs are welcome. Open all year round.

Suidhe Farm Cottages near Bunessan

Three 2-bedroom holiday cottages set in grazing land, within easy walking distance of the village of Bunessan, and conveniently placed for visits to Iona and the numerous sandy beaches that can be found on this part of the island. The cottages were built using modern materials but in a traditional style, and are furnished and equipped to a high standard, including satellite TV, telephone and WiFi access. The cottages are the perfect place for relaxation in comfortable surroundings, a slow pace of life, and easy access to the rugged but beautiful countryside.

Toechtamhor (pronounced Toch-ta-more) is a light and stylish bungalow with wonderful views set in the peace and quiet of its remote location on RSPB Award winning farm, 2 miles from the main road. Sleeping 4 (plus 1) in two en-suite bedrooms. The open plan kitchen, dining, living room is a great space for cooking, dining and relaxing on comfortable sofas beside the wood burning stove. There are wonderful walks from the cottage, the sea is about 15 minutes away. Dogs welcome and there is a large grassy garden. Open all year.

Argyll House Salen

Situated in the heart of Salen, just a few hundred yards from the boats in Salen Bay, Argyll House offers four separate self-catering properties on the beautiful Isle of Mull. The Byre is a cosy cottage sleeping 2 people in a galleried double-bedroom and pets are most welcome. Ben More is a penthouse apartment sleeping 4 (1 double, 1 twin). The Coach House Ardfenaig

Only the outside walls of this old granite building could be retained when the Coach House was converted into a self catering cottage. Now fully insulated against the elements and centrally heated, the Coach House offers the best of modern living in a truly traditional building. Situated in the spacious grounds and gardens of Ardfenaig House, the Coach House looks out onto a large pond and across Loch Caol to Bunessan village and the mountains of Glen More. Alongside it runs a burn, and a gate leads onto the open spaces of the Ross of Mull-hills and heather, sea and sand.

Fisherman's Bothy is a traditional thatched cottage located beside the sea on the Isle of Mull's west coast and below the summit of Ben More, Mull's only Munro. This charming bothy is a lovely bolt hole for two and has a great location for exploring the island and enjoying this magical setting.

Situated in the stunning central location of Aros Bridge on the Isle of Mull, Riverside Cottage offers luxury self catering accomodation for up to 4 people. The cottage has 2 bedrooms with a choice of twin or double beds. Shian and Duill @ Treshnish near Calgary

Shian and Duill Cottages sit side by side in a large grassy garden with open sea views over the Isle of Coll. The beautiful white sands of Calgary Beach are a couple of miles away. Shian sleeps 4 - well suited to a small family, with 2 bedrooms, one bathroom. Duill (pronounced Do-E) has a double and single bedroom, one bathroom, sleeping 3. Both cottages have recently been renovated. Each has a woodburning stove in the sitting room and a lovely bright sunroom to watch out for eagles from! Dogs are welcome and we are open all year.

Tigh na Mara Croggan

A traditional stone built croft cottage with a red tin roof that has a contemporary interior. Tigh na Mara sleeps 2 and has fantastic sea and mountain views from it’s position above the shore of Loch Spelve. Superb walking from the doorstep and a climb up Creach Beinn (698m) await.

Waterfront Snug Tobermory

Waterfront apartment on the first floor of the iconic Royal Buildings. A stone's throw from all amenities and a good base for exploring Mull. Apartment features a well-equipped open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with fabulous views over Tobermory bay, and a cosy double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Note that the apartment is adjacent to the famous Mishnish hotel with its lively lounge bar and restaurant. The flat is well-soundproofed, but some noise is to be expected. You will, however, have a very short walk home!

Driftwood Cottage is a charming, terrace cottage, one of four properties, located six miles from Salen on the Isle of Mull. Set over the ground floor, this cottage has two bedrooms, one double with an en-suite shower room, plus one twin which can be linked together to create a double on request, offering accommodation for up to four people. Achadh a’Mhullaich is a renovated cottage built of solid stone walls re-constructed from a former crofters house and outbuildings. It is tucked away in a secluded valley, close to harbour, sea, and sandy beaches of Calgary and Croig. The layout of the house is suitable for a group of up to six people, but also it can be intimate enough for a quiet holiday for two. You will delight in the boat trips to the Treshnish Isles and Staffa, or just enjoy the peace and let the world go by.
