Beinn Dearg is the highest mountain north of the Dirrie Mòr. It is a fine dome-shaped mountain, high above deep and atmospheric corries, and a worthy crowning glory to a fine range.

The quickest approach to Beinn Dearg is via the route given above, even if not continuing to the other three Munros. A possible but eccentric alternative would be to use the Beinn Enaiglair stalkers' paths and then ascend via Iorguill, enabling the Corbett to be included.
A possible extension to the round given would be to include Seana Bhràigh - but this would be an extremely epic outing beyond the reach of most hillwalkers.
