Other routes and challenges
Beinn Tulaichean can also be climbed with Cruach Àrdrain from the Crianlarich side. Avoid the paths through the forestry shown on some maps as they are very boggy; instead head up the track which leads to Coire Earb but cut up to gain Grey Height. From here a good ridgewalk leads to Cruach Àrdrain. Including Beinn Tulaichean from this side involves reversing the route back over Cruach Àrdrain, although some of the reascent can be avoided high on the west side.
The epic challenge route hereabouts involves ascents of all the 7 Crianlarich Munros - an exceptionally demanding expedition over very rough terrain at times.
