For a more straightforward route, the ascent to Ben Vorlich above could be followed to the summit before returning the same way - omitting the trickier Stuc a' Chroin.
Other options include approaching up Glen Ample and heading up to the Bealach an Dubh-Chorein, approaching from the head of Glen Artney, or a route from the south via Arivurichardich and Stuc a Chroin.
