Binnein Beag

Binnein Beag is an outlier of the Mamores and the most remote peak in the range. Although close by its much higher neighbour Binnein Mòr, Binnein Beag is a steep-sided cone and admits of no inferioty to its higher siblings.

Other routes and challenges

Most use the approach given from Kinlochleven; maps show a stalkers path coming up to the lochan from the Water of Nevis, but this would be a long approach with a river crossing.

The classic epic challenge for the hyper-fit is to traverse the whole Mamores ridge in a day - a major undertaking. Binnein Beag - one of the two eastern outliers from the ridge - is often included.
