Other routes and challenges
An alternative approach to the ridge is upper Strathfarrar. The road up the glen is private but restricted car access is possible - see our Strathfarrar Munros page for details. This route is less convenient if An Socach is to be included as it leaves a long, rough pathless walk back.
For the truly superfit, the massive challenge hereabouts is the complete Mullardoch round, following ridges that can take in up to 12 Munros, usually accomplished as a lightweight backpacking route.
