Detailed route description and map

South Glen Shiel Ridge walk

Other routes and challenges

For those not attempting the whole 7 Munros ridge, the north ridge of Druim Shionnach can be ascended after following a stalkers' path up to Loch a' Mhaoil Dhisnich from Cluanie.

All the finest features of the South Glen Shiel Ridge are on the northern side. The southern flank above lonely Glen Quoich has more uniform but steep slopes which deter an approach from this side.
