Maoile Lunndaidh is a very remote mountain at the head of Loch Monar, though it is usually ascended from Glencarron. It takes the form of a spacious plateau with several steep corries. Creag Toll a'Choin has recently been resurveyed as being the highest summit, but the Walkhighlands' route goes over both.
Altitude: 1007 metres

Other routes and challenges
The approach via the Allt a' Chaonais given above is almost invariably used. It is possible to climb Maoile Lunndaidh via the Loch Monar dam, but the distance combined with the restrictions on driving in Glen Strathfarrar make this difficult to accomplish within a day.
The extremely fit could combine Maoile Lunndaidh with Sgurr Choinnich and Sgurr a' Chaorachain.
