Sgòrr Dhearg (Beinn a' Bheithir)

Sgòrr Dhearg is the highest of the two Munros on Beinn a'Bheithir, and is the termination of a gracefully arched ridge from the Top of Sgòrr Bhan. It is a tremendous mountain and looks very fine from the north side of Loch Leven.

An excellent alternative start to the route given above is to tackle the NE ridge to Sgòrr Bhan - with some scrambling - before continuing along the ridge to Sgòrr Dhearg. The north ridge gives a more straightforward route - if an easy route through the forest to Meall a' Chaolais is found.
