Detailed route description and map

Beinn a'Bheithir ridge from Ballachulish

Other routes and challenges

The route above can be varied with an excellent alternative by tackling the NE ridge to Sgorr Bhan - with some scrambling - before continuing along the ridge to Sgorr Dhearg and on to Sgorr Dhonuill. It is possible to descend from further west around the ridge rather than returning to the bealach, but such routes are exceptionally steep and require care and greater experience.
