Other routes and challenges
An alternative approach is from the head of Glen Nevis, past Steall Falls. Head up the glen for several kilometres before striking off to make the ascent of Sgùrr Chòinnich Beag, continuing along the ridge to reach the parent peak.
The epic challenge is the Lochaber Traverse which continues from the Grey Corries route above onto the Aonachs and eventually Ben Nevis - though the ground leading from the Sgùrr Chòinnich Beag bealach up to Stob Coire Bhealaich is very tricky.
