Other routes and challenges

The above route can be used to ascend Sgùrr na Sgìne only, following the route that avoids the Forcan Ridge by following the dyke to the Bealach Coire Mhalagain before heading up to Sgùrr na Sgìne. The descent can be made via Faochag.

Ascending from the Bealach an Toiteil - allowing a link with Sgùrr a' Bhac Chaolais - involves extremely steep ground and is not recommended.
