Stob Coire Sgriodain is a steep sided ridge high above the glacial trench of Loch Treig. It is usually climbed in combination with neighbouring Chno Dearg.

Stob Coire Sgriodain and Chno Dearg are almost invariably climbed by the route given above, but there are other, more remote possibilities. One is to start from Corrour Station and ascend via the Garbh-bheinn ridge.
