Detailed route description and map

Ben Cruachan and Stob Daimh circuit

Other routes and challenges

The Dalmally Horseshoe ascends Stob Daimh from the east, making a circuit around the Sron an Isean and Stob Garbh ridges. Including the Corbett Beinn a' Bhùiridh involves a steep and rocky ascent from the Lairig Torran; care is also needed on the descent from Monadh Driseig if descending to the east.

The super fit and very experienced can combine Stob Dàimh and Ben Cruachan with an ascent of Beinn a' Chochuill and Beinn Eunaich, though the descent and reascent into the Lairig Noe is on tricky terrain.
