Mr Dennier, aged 50, who is a reporter for local paper the Strathspey and Badenoch Herald, failed to turn up for work at the paper’s Grantown on Spey office on Monday. Police believe Mr Dennier had spoken about going hill walking at the weekend but no one has heard from him since. There is no information about where he may have gone, although he is known to enjoy walking in the Cairngorms as well as on the west coast.
Mr Dennier drives a silver Volkswagen Polo, registration number SX54 CXD, which has missing wheel trims.
The paper’s editor Gavin Musgrove said: “Everyone who knows Clive is very concerned by his disappearance as it is completely out of character. He would have made every effort to let us know he is safe and well.
“All those who care so much about Clive would ask for anyone who may have seen him or his car since he finished work in Grantown late on Friday afternoon to contact the police.”
Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101.
