Bogton Braes circuit, Comrie

This circular walk leads through the attractive pastoral countryside of lowland Perthshire. The section alongside the River Earn is very attractive but includes an awkward stretch in Stage 3. Much of the route is waymarked but some of the markers are missing, particularly on the difficult riverside section.

Mostly waymarked paths and fields. The riverside path in Stage 3 is often overgrown, badly marked and crosses two steep gullies eroded by tributaries that require some agility and care to cross. These may be impassable in spate.
