This very straightforward and waymarked out-and-back route follows a section of the Arran Coastal Path from North Sannox. It visit the Fallen Rocks, a series of huge blocks tumbled from the cliffs above.

The walk begins from the car park and picnic area at North Sannox - a really beautiful spot on the coastline with superb views into the mountains. If using public transport, you can reach it by following the walk from Sannox.
Begin by heading along the track that leads north along the coastline from the far end of the parking - it is signed for 'Fallen Rocks' as well as being part of the Arran Coastal Way. The track leads through a gate and is in the trees initially - though after a short distance there's a path on the right to a bench overlooking the water.
Continue along the track. There's a further bench as the track becomes more open. At a wide grassy turning area the track ends; continue on the coastal footpath ahead.
The route soon reaches the first of the Fallen Rocks, passing to the left of a huge vegetated group of boulders. The main mass of the rocks is reached a short distance further along - a great place to enjoy this stunning coastline.
The coastal path itself continues around the Cock of Arran - a classic through walk to Lochranza. But for our shorter excursion, simply retrace your steps back from the Fallen Rocks to the start.
