Summary
The Ariundle Oakwoods are a truly stunning place, a surviving fragment of the great Atlantic Oakwoods - a temperate rainforest which once swathed much of Europe's western coastline. The name comes from the Gaelic Àirigh Fhionndail - the shieling of the white meadow.
