Detailed route description and map

Carn Eige, Mam Sodhail and Beinn Fhionnlaidh from Glen Affric

Other routes and challenges

The quickest approach to both Carn Eige and Mam Sodhail is by the path up the Allt Coire Leachavie, but it would be a shame to omit the fine east ridge traversed on the route given above.

For the truly superfit, the massive challenge hereabouts is the complete Mullardoch round, following ridges that can take in up to 12 Munros, usually accomplished as a lightweight backpacking route.
