A third option to approach Mullach Coire Mhic Fhearchair is via Loch a' Bhroain, possibly making use of the bothy. You can either ascend quartzite slabs and up to Cab a Choire Ghuirm, or tackle a trickier scramble route via Sgurr Dubh.
