Sgùrr Bàn is an extremely remote Munro in the Fisherfield Forest region. It can be reached during an epic walk from Kinlochewe, or approached via Loch a'Bhraoin, but is more usually ascended from Shenavall bothy.

You have not climbed Sgùrr Bàn.

Whilst the route given above is a real classic, Sgùrr Bàn can be ascended by a route from Kinlochewe to the south, usually heading in via the Heights of Kinlochewe before wild-camping near the foot of Loch Fhada. Mullach Coire Mhic Fhearchair is usually climbed on both the way out and the return.

The vast quartzite slabs sweeping down to Loch an Nid have been known to attract adventurous scramblers (in dry conditions) undeterred by the remote location.
