Spidean Coire nan Clach (Beinn Eighe)

Spidean Coire nan Clach was promoted to Munro status in 1997 to become Beinn Eighe's second Munro. There is a trig point at 972 meters on the ridge but the true summit is a fine rock peak a short distance further northeast, at 992 metres.

A much longer alternative to the above route is the complete traverse of Beinn Eighe, extending the route from Spidean Coire nan Clach over the eastern tops of this great range. The Black Carls - or Bodaich Dubh - provide a scramble before the final descends towards Kinlochewe.
