Spidean Mialach is one of a pair of Munros (the other being Gleouraich) on the north side of Loch Quoich. They make an excellent walk with fine stalkers paths on their lower slopes.

The above route is almost universally used, but the long east ridge looks well worth investigating; it is crossed by the Scottish National Trail route over the Mam na Seilg.
The most dramatic flank faces north into Glen Loyne - a remote approach that deters most. However, an old stalkers path is shown on OS maps, climbing up onto the ridge bordering the west side of Coire Leacach Mòr.
