New Walkhighlands app goes live

The new Walkhighlands app is available at last in Apple App store and Google Play!

  • Improved offline GPS mapping with OS topography
  • Free forever
  • Free-scrolling away from routes (online)
  • Easy to use – when you download a walk you get both description & mapping
  • Munros & long distance walks now on App homepage
  • Continuously updated
  • Not-for-profit – run to serve Scotland’s walkers

If you’ve previously used our old non-app store app, it is now obsolete. Please uninstall it and install the new one from the app stores (link in our profile). Your app will then be automatically kept up to date.

You should always carry a backup means of navigation and not rely on a single phone, app or map. Walking can be dangerous and is done entirely at your own risk. Information is provided free of charge; it is every walker's responsibility to check it and to navigate safely.
