This route combines the two waymarked walking trails in Logierait Woods, between the Tay and Tummel. It visits an attractive old curling pond and the return gives views over the Tay.

The car park for Logierait Woods is up an unsigned track off the minor road which heads north from Logierait. There is an information board in the parking area giving details of two walks and a cycle route - this route combines the two walks. Begin by heading along the main track from the far end of the parking, passing the vehicle barrier. Keep straight ahead at a junction (where the 'Granny Pine' route goes left - this is used later). After 700m take a path signed (green arrow, 'Curling Pond Path') on the left.
Keep right at each of two junctions. The curling pond is away to the right, but not yet in view. The path eventually emerges on a track. Turn right; soon the track passes the beautiful old curling pond. Continue past the turning you took earlier, and retrace your steps along the track until the 'Granny Pine' yellow waymarker and track lead off right - take this turning.
The track now climbs up through the trees. Keep straight ahead across a much broader track which serves a quarry. Soon the grassy track reaching an old seat, though the view is a little obscured by trees. Here follow the grassy track as it bends right; there are occasional views up Strath Tay. Go left onto a path at a fork.
The path eventually descends to reach another track. Turn left along this, with more good views over the Tay far below to the right. When the quarry track is reached, go straight across once more. The track eventually leads back to the car park.
