Each month two walk reports from the Walkhighlands Forum are chosen to win vouchers from Scottish outdoor gear retailer, Highlander.
The £100 May 1st prize went to k traverses for Midnight Bus, Highland Morning & 2 Ballachulish Munros. The judges commented that, “it’s always interesting to read their reports of walks in Scotland and south of the border done from public transport but this one stood out for it’s fantastic photos and epic ambition for a day walk by bus”.
Something different was chosen for the runner up prize. A £50 voucher is on its way to ProfRob for The Bob Graham Round who completed this legendary Lake District run in ropey weather in 2019 and had obviously only just recovered enough by last month to write it up!
