This short walk on minor roads and good paths heads east from Castlebay to a small headland overlooking the islet of Orasaigh. It has great views of the bay as well as a rocky shore to explore with a chance to watch seals and other wildlife.

Terrain

Minor road, good path. Dogs are strongly discouraged.

Public Transport

Castlebay is served by ferries from Oban, and from Lochboisdale on South Uist. It is also the hub for buses on Barra.
